What does this mean in concrete terms?
Even persons living in the same household or family members may not receive any information without written authorisation. In the event of enquiries, we may require official identification for verification purposes.
What applies in the event of death?
If the registered person has passed away, access to the account can only be granted to authorised third parties, for example:
- legal heirs
- a person authorised to represent the deceased by a court or by a certificate of inheritance
Documents required
In order to provide information or process the account, we require:
- a copy of the death certificate
- official proof of authorisation (e.g. certificate of inheritance, power of attorney, official order)
- if applicable, a copy of the official ID of the person making the request
